Maybe it’s lack of enough sleep, but I’m getting kinda emotional about leaving Austin. Last few days reminded me how much I love music.

At Doc Motorworks on S Congress to see Caitlin Rose then down the block to check Bloodshot Recs party at Yard Dog.
Caitlin Rose’s voice is amazing.

I am finally home for the night after a whirlwind day of music and fun. I talked with Ben Jacobs (Max Tundra), Jon Langford and Rosie Flores. I saw the Pine Valley Cosmonauts, M. Ward, The Entrance Band, Dirty Projectors (heard them at least), Endless Boogie, Flower Travellin’ Band, Wavves and Max Tundra. Whew.
Max Tundra blew me away. Dude is unreal. Then hung with Invisible Hand at Acoustic BBQ.
Seein’ Wavves at Music Gym Patio. Nice n gritty n loud n catchy. Yeah!
